The GK Pop! booth served “smoking popcorn” to 5,670 guests (a 28% increase over 2017). The custom treat was frozen with liquid nitrogen in real-time as attendees placed orders. The visual spectacle aimed to capture the imagination and motivate social sharing.
Engaging selfie/video-creating teens and millennials with a fun, tactile brand-positive experience is the ultimate goal of the activation. In addition, our brand ambassadors actively promoted GK programming, encouraged app downloads, and assisted in the creation of shareable snaps!
GK catered to a youthful, food-obsessed audience, and VidCon was the perfect place to meet GenZ content consumers with over 41% of attendees in that age bracket.
